3. DSC MAXSYS PC4020 interface

Command name

Description

Error Com Interface

There has been a communication error between PC4020

and/or PC44001 and IntesisBox.

Force Status Request

PC4020 sends updates for all zones and trouble status to the

application.

System Tamper Alarm

Please, check DSC PC4401 manual for further information

System Trouble

One or more of the following has occurred:

PC4204/PC4820/PC4850/PC4702 AC, battery and Aux Supply

troubles, Alternate Communicator troubles, PC4400 troubles,

automation fault and/or PC4164 RF jam.

System Bell Trouble

An open circuit has been detected across the bell terminals.

Panel AC Trouble

AC power to the panel has been disconnected or interrupted.

Panel Aux Power Trouble

There is a problem with the auxiliary power supply.

Panel Battery Trouble

The panel’s battery is low.

Ground Fault

There is a problem with the EGND connection.

FTC Com Central Station Trouble

The PC4020 has had trouble communicating to the central station.

Modules Com Fault

The PC4020 has lost communications with one or more connected

modules.

Combus Low Power Trouble

The Combus has low power.

Telephone Line1 Failure

There is a problem communicating with telephone line 1.

Telephone Line2 Failure

There is a problem communicating with telephone line 2.

Wire Smoke Alarm

A 2-wire smoke alarm has been activated.

Wire Smoke Trouble

A 2-wire smoke zone has a trouble condition.

Waterflow Alarm

A waterflow alarm has been activated.

Waterflow Trouble

A waterflow zone has a trouble condition.

Key Alarm Auxiliary

An Auxiliary key alarm has been activated.

Key Alarm Fire

A Fire key alarm has been activated.

Key Alarm Panic

A Panic key alarm has been activated.

Duress Alarm (Any user activation)

A Duress code has been entered on a system keypad.

Buffer near full (Only 1 status)

The DLS software has not uploaded the Event Buffer for 2250

Events.

HK1-Handheld Keypad low battery

One or more handheld keypads (WLS910) have a low battery.

Wk1-Wireless Keypad Low battery

One or more wireless keys (WLS909) have a low battery.

-Arm Control

The PC4020 will attempt to arm the Px partition.

Px-Arm Status

The PC4020 will return the Px arm status.

Px-Arm Status Forced (cleared when

Arm Status clear)

Px-Arm Status Special

The PC4020 will indicate if a partition has been armed by one

of the following methods: DataLink application, quick arm, auto

arm, keyswitch, function key, DLS software, and/or wireless key.

Px-Arm Status User

Px-Alarm Status (cleared when Arm

Status clear)

Px-Ready to Arm

The PC4020 will send this command when a partition becomes ready

to arm.

Px-Command Output Control (1..8)

The PC4020 will activate or deactivate the selected Command Output.

-Bypass Control

The PC4020 will attempt to bypass the selected zone. If successful,

the PC4020 will send the Zone Bypass/Unbypass Status Update

Zy-Bypass Status

Zone Zy has been bypassed.

Zy-Alarm Status

Zone Zy has gone into alarm.

Zy-Fault Status

Zone Zy has a fault.

Zy-Tamper Status

Zone Zy has a tamper status.

Zy-Opened Status

Please, check DSC PC4401 manual for further information

Zy-Door Forced

An access controlled door from Zone Z1 has been forced open.

Zy-Door opened too long

Zone Zy access controlled door has been kept open past the

programmed Door Open time.

Zy-Device low battery

One or more of the following devices have a low battery:

wireless zones/pendants (WLS908).

X indicates the partition index and can take values from 1 to 8.

Y indicates the zone index and can take values from 1 to 16.
